Your data, in plain words

Last updated: 7 November 2026

Short version: we only use analytics if you say yes, we don't run ads, and we never sell anyone's data. Our fonts are served from our own site, so nothing loads from Google unless you accept analytics. The details are below.

Who we are

This website is run by 7Q81 Studio ("we", "us"), a web development studio. For anything about your data, email accounts@7q81.co.

What we collect, and why

1. Analytics, only if you accept. If you click "Accept" on the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to see how the site is used: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are (country or city, worked out from your IP address; Google Analytics 4 doesn't store IP addresses), what device and browser they use, how they found the site and how long they stay. We use this only to understand which parts of the site work. Legal basis: your consent. If you click "Decline", Google Analytics is never loaded.

2. Emails you send us. If you email us, we get your name, email address and whatever you write. We use it to reply and, if we work together, to run the project. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering messages. We keep it as long as the conversation or project needs it, and longer only where the law requires (for example, invoices).

3. Technical logs. Like any website, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser, the page requested and when) to keep the site running and secure. These are kept for a short period.

Who else is involved

Google may process data in the United States. It relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses for those transfers. We don't sell data, show ads or build advertising profiles.

We keep analytics data for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, which is never more than 14 months.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU and UK GDPR), you can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it, and you can withdraw your consent for analytics at any time. Email accounts@7q81.co and we'll answer within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
